Emerging Arts Critics Programme Contributor
Anna Paliy is a doctoral student in the Centre for Drama, Theatre, and Performance Studies at the University of Toronto. Her research combines work on French and Russian cultural intersections in avant-garde ballet between the years 1890-1930. Her writing has been published in the journals Kino and Semicolon (University of Western Ontario) as well as Transverse (University of Toronto). Formerly a competitive rhythmic gymnast, Paliy now enjoys practicing circus acrobatics and painting in her spare time.
