Happy International Dance Day!
Created in 1982 by the Dance Committee of the International Theatre Institute ITI, a UNESCO initiative, International Dance Day is an opportunity to celebrate the power and value of dance.
The Dance Current collaborated with Dance Ontario and Dance Umbrella of Ontario to bring you this year’s message by Renata Soutter. Renata is a choreographer, co-founder and artistic lead at Propeller Dance and a proponent of innovation within socially engaged dance practice.
