The dance community mourns the loss of Louise Quick, who passed away on November 1 after a two-year battle with cancer. She died peacefully at her sister’s home in Colorado. Louise was best known for her work with renowned choreographer Bob Fosse, and appeared as a Kit Kat Klub dancer in the film Cabaret, as well as in the Emmy-winning TV special Liza with a Z and in Pippin on Broadway. In Cabaret she also performed the iconic role of the Gorilla, dancing alongside Joel Grey.
