Justin de Luna, a student in dance at the Ryerson Theatre School in Toronto and Andrew Swan Greer, a student at The School of Toronto Dance Theatre each received $10,000 grants from The Hnatyshyn Foundation to complete their studies in the 2014/2015 academic year. The Hnatyshyn Foundation is a private charity established by the late Right Honourable Ramon John Hnatyshyn, Canada’s twenty-fourth Governor General, to assist emerging and established artists in all disciplines with their schooling and training, and to promote the importance of the arts to the Canadian public. Its programs are funded by donations from government, foundations, corporations and individuals. The Department of Canadian Heritage has provided $5 million in grants to assist the Foundation.
