July 6 @ 8:00 am – July 15 @ 9:00 pm
The 35th anniversary of the Dancing on the Edge Festival (DOTE) will kick off on July 6. The festival will host both indoor and outdoor live performances. This year’s DOTE will feature world premieres, North American and Western Canadian debuts and works-in-progress. Because the festival is located on the edge of the Pacific Ocean and contemporary dance is seen as an edgy art form, this year’s festival will be celebrating the waves of motion created by the countless number of creative artists who have been in the festival over its 35 years.
