Olivia Faveri is a recent graduate of York University’s BFA Dance program, specializing in Choreography/Performance. During her studies, she played an active role within the arts community as a member of her College Council, President of the Dance Students’ Association (DSA) and as a Student Ambassador and Mentor. As President of the DSA, she curated and produced the first annual student-run production Bloom — a showcase choreographed and performed off-campus by select undergraduate dance students. In addition to her internship at The Dance Current, she is the Associate Producer & Administrative Coordinator at Kaeja d’Dance and acts as a manager, producer and/or stage manager for various artistic projects, in the dance community. She is passionate about bringing dance to new audiences. It is her honour to help do just this, as she believes that everyone should have the opportunity to experience dance, for all it has to offer.
Olivia interned with The Dance Current in the spring of 2017.
