Jennifer Nichols’ conditioning work has extended to the realm of professional sport, where she develops cross-training programs for national competitive teams in synchronized swimming and figure skating. When not teaching, Nichols is dancing in – the corps de ballet of Toronto’s Baroque opera company Opera Atelier and with her own company Hit & Run Dance Productions. A native of Collingwood, Ont., Nichols studied at L’École supérieure de ballet du Québec, Quinte Ballet School in Belleville, Ont., and Ballet BC before dancing professionally with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montréal, Ontario Ballet Theatre and Banff Festival Dance. She has worked with contemporary choreographers David Earle, Robert Desrosiers, Wen Wei Wang, Newton Moraes and Roberto Campanella, to name a few.
