A celebration of the book We Will Remember This - Nova Bhattacharya’s Svāhā!, co-published by Dance Collection Danse and Nova Dance. Written and curated by Brannavy Jeyasundaram, it chronicles the journey of creating Bhattacharya’s Svāhā! through a series of literary essay exploring a key moment in Canada’s dance-making history and the resilience of artists.
The Dance Collection Danse Hall of Fame ceremony is more than an awards gala; it offers live performances featuring today’s generation of dance creators alongside the inductions. This is an event for in-person attendees and online viewers which offers an opportunity to gather people from across the country to celebrate Canada’s rich culture as embodied by dance.
