Regional Reporter 2021/22 East Coast

Candice Pike is a dance artist, educator and administrator based in Corner Brook, Newfoundland. She uses a gentle approach to create, interpret and share dance through somatic and intellectual lenses. With an eclectic background of movement, artistic and administrative experience, she constantly considers unique ways of creating, presenting and talking about dance in rural locations. Pike practices “community networking choreography” by facilitating a number of arts engagement and mentorship programs and sees her role as regional reporter with The Dance Current as an exciting way to build connections amongst dance enthusiasts throughout the Atlantic region.
