Vancouver Contact Improvisation juggernaut EDAM Dance presents Intersect, new works by Artistic Director Peter Bingham and guest artists Josh Martin and Helen Walkley on May 7, 9, 10, 14, 16 and 17. A true contemporary dance pioneer, Bingham has been the director of the company since 1989. He is world renowned as an contact improv educator and dancer. This video of Body Narratives, documentation of a 2012 production, gives an idea of Bingham’s experience and virtuosity as a performer and improviser. This type of work is best seen live and up close, so the opportunity to see Bingham move in person is not to be missed.
