Alexa Mardon

Alexa Mardon is a dance artist from Vancouver. Her fiction, poetry, and criticism have been published in Canadian journals including West Coast Line and ISSUE Magazine. As an interpreter, she has performed for Canadian companies and independent choreographers within platforms including the Vancouver International Dance Festival, Dancing on the Edge Festival, and Expanse Festival. Recently, she co-curated An Exact Vertigo, a month-long residency, lecture series, and platform for critical engagement around contemporary dance at Vancouver’s Unit/Pitt Projects, one of the city’s oldest artist-run centres.
